DeGiS as a well connected network has a broad range of partners, supporters and sponsors from all areas of expertise and backgrounds.
Not only being closely connected to like minded organizations in the political Berlin and Germany, DeGiS also has close ties to industry and commerce from Kiel to Munich, from Cologne to Dresden. As the networks aims at providing the greatest benefits to international students in Germany it is imperative to have honorable sponsors, enabling the members to enjoy extraordinary events, to participate in top seminars and to receive special perks and discounts on a regular basis. Moreover, without our partners from society, politics and business, the scholarship and mentoring opportunities would not be half as valuable as they are today. The DeGiS partners make the network to what it is while offering the opportunity to grow.
With our large range of partners we share the values of diversity, tolerance, endurance and sustainability. Our partners contribute their experience and knowledge to the program and are available for our students as contacts for all career questions. Together, we want to communicate our core values to our students at networking events and through the mentoring program. This dedication is based on conviction and passion which makes DeGiS even stronger and successful.
Deutschlandstiftung Integration (DSI) paves the way to successful integration under the patronage of German Chancellor Angela Merkel and the chairman of the foundation board Federal President Christian Wulff since 2008. With common values for diversity, tolerance and social engagement DeGiS and DSI want to encourage students and young professionals to pursue their goals. The aim is showing up that diversity is an enrichment for our society. Due to the close cooperation, mutual events will be held and the 10 DeGiS scholars will get a shortened access to the “Geh Deinen Weg” application procedure.
